iPhone 3G Users Not Even Last Picked
We iPhone 3G users know how to take a hint. First, it was the lack of wallpapers, but we could live with that; then it was the no multitasking, which stung, but some of us understood. When we heard we'd be plum left out of Game Center, well, that sucked pretty hard too. But, this, Cupertino? This is kicking us while we're down.
According to Engadget who got the goods from Apple, not only is the 3G iPhone getting left behind on almost all the new goodies in iOS 4, but our once-partner in home-aloneness, the iPod touch second-generation, isn't.

Yeah, you read that right. Apparently, the second-generation iPod touch is a better device than our puny iPhones. We're not up to the task of gaming at Game Center levels. Heck, we can't even handle wallpaper, so who'd want us on their team. No, we're kicked to the curb with the first generation iPhones and iPod touches. Ouch.
If Steve & Co. are trying to sweet talk us into an upgrade with cruddy performance in iOS 4 and now the unkindest cut of all, they sure have a funny way of pitching woo.

This seems very much like when I bought my first iMac Rev B. Everything printed at the time said 'go to a G3 because it will be supported by OS X". Then later it was revealed that they weren't fully supported because Apple hobbled them with a mediocre graphics system.
Now my iPhone 3G isn't fully supported by iOS.
*sigh*
