From the looks of things, an Apple affecionado from the Czech Republic has gotten his hands on an iPhone 4 a wee bit early, and the review is pretty positive.
According to AppleInsider, a reader of the European website Jablickar offered up his impressions on the handset. Going by the name of Swenak, the reader touched upon the feel and qualities of the handset's case, interface response, the phone's overall size and battery life. It's worth mentioning that Swenak's handset appears to be more refined than those seen in earlier leaks. Screws no longer detract from the phone's design on either side of the dock connector, and the back of the phone is stamped with 16 GB rather than "XXGB."
This latest peek at the handset is a refreshing change from the last leaks of the handset brought to us by the folks at Gizmodo and the Vietmanese website Taoviet. With those two reveals, we were given some insight into iPhone 4's hardware, but precious little else, as in both cases, the handset was non-functional when brought to light on the interwebz. Should Swenak's hands-on review be legitimate, and it does appear to be, this will have marked the first instance we're aware of that the iPhone 4 has been fully operational and put on display for all to see.
from what i remember when i watched the iTunes podcast of Steve's presentation at WWDC, the pictures of the iPhone 4 had screws on the bottom of the unit. i wonder which phone will be released next week on the official day - the one with screws or the one without.
