The New York Review of Books has an article about an iPhone artist in its Oct. 22, 2009 issue.  

Lawrence Weschler, who wrote the article for the Review, speaks about the artist, David Hockney in an audio slide show that includes some ofthe artist's drawings.

Hockney uses the Brushes app on the iPhone by Steve Sprang to create his artwork.Artist Jorge Colombo used the same app to paint the June 1, 2009 coverof The New Yorker.

Brushes is available for $4.99 in the App Store.
