The iPhone nano rumors are back! Today's rumors comes direct from iDealsChina. Could this be the latest product announcement slated for Macworld 2009? Yeah, probably not.
According to iDealsChina, they have received renderings of a silicone case for a new iPhone design. Much smaller and thicker than its full-size counterpart, it is said to still have the touch screen and camera, but no 3G support. Wait, how can they tell it doesn't have 3G from a 3D rendering?
The iPhone nano rumors have been around since the dawn of iPhone. But now we have silicone case 3D renderings from designer XSKN. Oh, did we mention that the case is being advertised on XSKN's site right now? So it must be true.
The timing is perfect for this rumor with Macworld Expo less than a month away. Could this be Apple's attempt to invade the lower income market with the introduction of a smaller, less expensive iPhone? Could this be the $99 Walmart iPhone?
We're going to go out on a limb and call shenanigans on this. Still, we'll have to wait until the Stevenote on January 6 to find out for sure.
