iPhone Profit Margin Towers Over the Rest

We all knew Apple was making money from the iPhone, but how much did they actually keep? Nokia makes a big deal about how they sell billions of phones, but compared to Apple, they are making pennies (or whatever the Finnish equivalent of a penny is).
iSmashPhone has crunched the numbers, and found that Apple has double the operating profits of their nearest competitor, RIM, and even though their revenues are much smaller than the handset behemoths, Samsung, Nokia, and LG, their profits (yknow, the part they can actually spend) are gargantuan in comparison. Check out the neat chart they compiled, and revel in his Steveness’ operational efficiency.

The Finnish equivalent to a penny is a cent. It's the same cent as is found in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Finland, along with all these other EU member countries, uses the Euro currency.Arvind, although your name isn't typical American, your writing is. But thank you nonetheless for providing me with this "teaching moment".hyvää päivää!-tauno
