According to press releases by both Orange and O2, the iPhone will be launching in the United Kingdom on June 24th along with the United States launch.
This is great news for the many Apple users that live in the UK, especially after the long delayed wait they experienced for the iPad and iPad 3G models.
Information on Orange's website suggests that they may offer pre-ordering as well. "Further information on pre-registration, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course," the PR statement notes.
O2 hasn't announced any further information, but they are providing email registration to keep you up to date on any changing news.

the UK will indeed get it on 19th June. It will still be exclusive to O2.
