Not much to say about this one, except that Apple has just announced a media event for next Wednesday, September 12 -- and judging from the invitation, the next iPhone may actually have a "5" in the name after all.
Apple has invited members of the press to a media event scheduled for next Wednesday, September 12 at 10am PST.
"It's almost here," the invitation reads with the bold number 12 below it. Most notably, there's the shadow of the number "5" below it -- which could be a tease that the event will unveil an iPhone 5, despite leading speculation suggesting that would not be the name after all.
Either way, you can bet MacLife.com will be at the Yerba Buena Center next Wednesday bringing you all the news at it happens, so stay tuned!
