MacRumors has spies everywhere. It's true! In fact, you're most likely being watched right now.
One of those shadowy fellows has produced information that if correct, will bring some big changes to the upcoming iTunes 9.1 release.
According to the site, iTunes 9.1 will be chockfull of fresh-tech goodness including automatic file conversion to 128kbps AAC format, reworked summary panes, and greater user control over Genius mixes. It's also speculated that the Audiobook section will give way to a 'Books' section, that will display all audiobook and ebook content available for use on a given device.
It all sounds plausable, but as our regular readers will already know, rumors such as these are best read with a grain of salt while wearing a tinfoil hat.
