iTunes Match Beta Released for Developers

Developers may have noticed a little surprise in their inbox from Apple today. iTunes Match Beta is now available for a test drive, according to Mac Rumors. Even better, Apple also notes that beta subscribers will get an additional 3 months free with their $24.99 paid subscription in order to cover the beta plus the 12 months after launch.
In the note, Apple gives a forewarning to customers to make sure to keep a local backup of their iTunes library and any music added to iCloud, just in case anything goes awry.
One of the main benefits of iTunes Match is that it will give users comparable benefits for any downloaded or ripped music as those that they purchase from the iTunes Music Store, up to 25,000 songs, to the tune of $24.99 a year. Check out Apple's note below:
