Halfbrick's latest game is a bonafide hit, and now it's getting a big update with a ton of new content for all of its 350,000 users.
While we at Mac|Life still vastly prefer the game's previous moniker, Machinegun Jetpack, it appears App Store customers disagree. Jetpack Joyride has become a smash hit in just a couple of weeks on the App Store, racking up a total of 350,000 downloads.
Now Halfbrick is looking to keep the success going with a big new update. The update will include an all-new vehicle called Mr. Cuddles, a giant robotic dragon. They've also added a new fruit jetpack that splatters goo all over the levels (it's a callback to their previous game, Fruit Ninja) as well as a new playable character.
We're currently working on our official Jetpack Joyride review, but in the mean time you can scope out this awesome hands-on demo from PAX. (Spoiler: it was awesome then, and it's still awesome now.)
