Jobs Comes Up Short For "Person of the Year" Nod
I guess when you're up against one of the fastest people in the world, the President of the United States, the person trying to head up ending the recession, and the Speaker of the House, you have some tough competition when it comes to "Person of the Year," according to CNN International.
Today, Time Magazine has announced Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as its 2009 "Person of the Year." The list of finalists included Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, President Obama, House Speaker Pelosi, and Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
Time deemed Bernanke, "the most powerful nerd on the planet."
"The story of the year was a weak economy that could have been much, much weaker. Thank the man who runs the Federal Reserve, our mild-mannered economic overlord," said the article.
What do you think MacLifers? Do you agree with the choice?

Stevie would have been my choice. The economy is in the doldrums yet people are still buying Macs and iPhones. The Apple Store is propping up the economy, the reason why Ben looks good and Time decided to choose him instead. iHing @ iCrazee - Experience the Personal Madness of Owning an Apple Mac
