John Gruber Says 10.6 Is Coming in Two Weeks

Mac Pundit John Gruber, of Daring Fireball, has looked into his crystal ball, and says Snow Leopard will be released as soon as August 28. Gruber has a pretty darn good track record when it comes to these things, especially because he’s on first name terms with good old Phil (Schiller). That said, Apple explicitly said they would release Snow Leopard in September, so we remain a bit dubious. However, the sooner, the better, because none of us can wait.

I'm still running 10.4 (Tiger) on an old iMac G4. Hmmmm.. guess Snow Leopard will be my excuse to get a new computer.

I don't you would be elgible for a $29.99 upgrade bc you using Tiger not Leopard. Not sure, I could be wrong, call Apple and ask about that.

Apple's website says that Snow Leopard will start shipping on every new Mac in September, that doesn't mean it won't go on sale before then.
