Geotagging maps are really cool.
Column view lists all the places you've taken pictures. Similar to Browse feature in iTunes.

9:12am: iPhoto reverse-encodes your camera's geotag to place photos on a map. Can add locations to photos that don't have geotag information.
9:11 AM "Wouldn't it be great if iPhoto could organize your photos around where they were taken?"
Places: iPhoto can organize your photos around the places where the photos were taken. Works by GPS geotagging.
9:11 "There's no perfect face recognition in anyone's software, but this is the best technology we have found."
9:10am New button allows you to name people in photos. Face recognition will find the same person across multiple photos. Learning face recognition system.
9:09am "Wouldn't it be great if iPhoto let you organize your photos around your favorite people? Well, that's what's in iPhoto 09. We've added a new feature called Faces."
"Faces uses a technoloy called Face Detection. When you go into an event, I click on a picture, there's a new button at the bottom that says 'Name this person.' Because iPhoto wants you to tell it who these people are."
