An iOS app for Kickstarter seemed like an inevitability. More and more, indie creatives and even bigger companies are taking to the service to fund new projects. The app features the familiar look and interface of the Kickstarter site, and allows you to browse through current funding drives.
But more importantly, the Kickstarter app is a nice way to track the projects you've already backed. Checking on updates is a snap, and feels much more streamlined.
Project creators can also benefit from the app, as managing your project or updating backers is an easy process. And hey, if you're trying to raise money for that new idea of yours, checking the donation levels is pretty much a full-time obsession. Now you can do it on the go.
