There are no shortage of third-party camera apps on the App Store, but how many of them get used on a daily basis? GhostBird Software is aiming to be the one that is with its latest offering, KitCam.
GhostBird Software has introduced their latest app, KitCam. Priced at only $1.99, this iPhone camera app offers full manual control over your creations along with non-destructive editing and a host of live filters for budding photographers.
Tired of apps like Instagram slowing you down when you want to snap a quick photo with a filter already applied? KitCam makes it a snap (pun intended) with stunning live filters and effects, including 13 lenses, 30 film types and 18 frames.
KitCam is also capable of tackling 1080p HD video recording equally as well as photos, complete with automatic video stabilization with iOS 6 devices. The software is also capable of shooting photos in different aspect ratios, all of which can be previewed live.
Control is a big part of what KitCam offers, allowing iPhone users to easily switch from full auto to manual mode for focus, exposure and much more.
If you've ever wanted to shoot multiple photos in succession with your iPhone, KitCam finally makes that a reality, and users can even compose them into a single shot using a number of predefined layouts right from within the app.
KitCam is now available from the App Store for a mere $1.99 and comes with a good pedigree: GhostBird are the creators of PhotoForge, a slick image editing app that's been a longtime favorite on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
