Here we are, approaching the end of summer, and there's still no multimedia messaging available on the iPhone! Then again, you can always email your pictures via email.

According to AppleInsider, there were two lawsuits filed against Apple and AT&T last week for the lack of MMS capabilities after advertisements of iPhone 3GS said the feature was available. One complaint was filed in Southern Illinois, the other in Louisiana. The Louisiana suit states:
"Apple advertised heavily that the new version of iPhone 3G, as well as the even newer version, the 3GS, would allow MMS...Apple's print and video advertisements in and on television, the Internet, radio, newspapers, and direct mailers all touted the availability of MMS."
The Illinois suit also adds that the two companies are acting in "deception, fraud, false pretense, false promise, misrepresentation and unfair practices."
