It's been quite a while since the last release in the Dragon's Lair series on iPhone. While ports of classic games tend to come out rapid-fire once the first releases (to leapfrog on the previous game's excitement,) Dragon's Lair 2 is coming out a beefy eighteen months after the first game.
But we suppose that it's never too long to revisit an old loved one. Dirk the Daring is back in this adventure dubbed Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp with all the features and enhancements that made the first iOS port such high quality. All of the original content is included and even includes a director's cut which holds an alternate ending.
The game will also feature the incredibly useful ability to change the number of lives you have at your disposal: three, five, or infinite. Highly useful if you just want to experience the Dragon's Lair 2 story without having to be ruthlessly punished by its difficulty.
DL 2: Time Warp is currently available for $2.99, while the original Dragon's Lair is going for a paltry 99 cents. If you're feeling the urge to time warp back to the 80s/90s arcade then this is a great time to jump aboard.
