The people at RIM are full of it. I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 (which by the way is a crappy phone) and if you give it the so-called "death grip" hold, you will lose a bar or two of sensitivity. It is endemic of all hand held devices.
Apple is being unfairly crucified on this issue by envious rivals who, after smelling a little blood, have seized the opportunity to attack. It's obvious and pathetic.

A lot of the snark in the “analysis” was really off-putting as a reader, and most of it seemed to come from MacFormat. Next time, do it without MacFormat or tell them to tone it down.

Can you ask apple if it would be possible to have the software be able to switch antennas to find best signal strength or do they have to be fixed antennas?

Phin and Barlow are a disgrace. At every phrase out of Mr. Jobs mouth, they show their disdain and arrogance. What were they expecting? A public flogging? There is no issue with the vast majority of iPhone 4 users (myself included). They will address the issue with free cases. They are continuing to study the issue. Please, you could have made at least an attempt to be reasonable in your commentary.

Has Steve qualified these statistics as U.S. only or global (in all markets where iPhone 4 is currently sold)?
