Need a MUG? If you live in Northern California, the North Coast Mac Users Group (NCMUG) is hosting its 18th annual Mac Computer Expo (MC) at the Petaluma Community Center on Saturday, October 1. If you've been interested in joining a MUG, getting together with other Mac addicts to discuss your love for all things Apple, or just need something to do that day and you live in the Bay Area, the MCE will be happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The NCMUG has invited over two dozen vendors who will be offering programs and information about all of Apple's latest products, and showcasing stuff for sale. Speakers will include David Sparky of the Macsparky.com blog, Chris Breen, Derrick Story and more. There will also be a 25ft display of Bert Monroy's depiction of New York's Time Square done completely in Photoshop, and Goodwill Industries will also be there to collect electronic recyclables. Plus, there will be hourly raffle drawings and Sellyourmac.com will be on site to help you sell your used Mac stuff.
If you're interested, the Petaluma Communicy Center is at 320 McDowell Road in Petaluma. Parking will be free and there is absolutely no admission charge. Bring a friend, bring the family, and spread the love of Mac!
