7:40AM: That's it from the Verizon Launch line. we'll have more coverage from the Verizon iPhone launch including a network shootout with Nic and Ray!

7:30AM: There is no line at the Verizon store in downtown San Francisco on Market.

7:20AM: Verizon bars
7:15AM: Just realized since I didn't port my number, I forgot to find out what my phone number is.
7:10AM: Interviewed by local news. I'm famous!

7:05AM: Success! Staring at full bars.
6:45AM: Line's moving
6:32AM: Verion employee said since I have my MacBook in hand I'd easily be first through the activation process. Bring your MacBooks!
6:28AM: The lovebugs on my left seem to be having a good time. And the Verizon staff has now assumed their positions inside.
6:14AM: The line is definitely growing. And sideways apparently.
There are now probably about thirty people standing around, no word on how many phones are in stock.
6:06AM: Verizon is bringing dozens of balloons into their store. One popped and sounded exactly like a rifle going off. Us journalists, putting our lives on the line once again for you, the readers.
6:00AM: An hour before launch and the line now numbers well into the fifteens. There's a local news channel and Verizon photographer all up on this line.
5:55AM: There's some next-level Disney stuff going on inside this Verizon store. I swear, someone's holding a boombox and everyone's doing choreographed dancing. What's that warm feeling I have inside? Could it be... coverage?
5:45AM: Verizon team just stepped outside and said they had enough iPhones for everyone in line (there are now 13 of us). If you're looking for one, quick! Drive to the Verizon store on Market street.
Follow my adventures as I wake up disgustingly early, overdose on caffeine, fend off dragons, and drive across town to pick up a phone that might not be any better than the one I returned last month!
The action starts at 6:00AM PST, and the angry tweets start even earlier at twitter.com/nicvargus.
