Rumors are good. Rumors are what keep the web going and what keeps the Apple blogs thriving. Rumors are the blood that flows through our blog veins. If we didn't have any rumors to gossip about, we wouldn't have any speculation, and then I couldn't make a big deal out of this press release I got in my inbox just a second ago.
LostDog, makers of incredibly artsy iPhone cases designed by French graphic artists Aurele, announced a specially designed case for the "mysterious iPhone 5." Yeah. They called it so.
The press release is advertising the case maker's popular "You are Wonderful and I Love You" iPhone case, except on the case they're making for the iPhone model refresh, the words are backwards so that when you self-absorbingly take a photo of yourself in the mirror, you're also sending out a positive message to your Facebook friends and Instagram followers. It's actually a really cute concept and I really dig the message and the design of the case.
LostDog will be launching the case on iPhone 5 launch day. With the timing of the press release, could it be that the iPhone 5 is arriving sooner than we think? We're still checking around, waiting on some word about a keynote, but until then I guess we can admire the cases that will be available once our new phone comes out.
