While the arrival of Google Maps and 1Password 4 for iOS may be getting most of the spotlight on Thursday, a couple of creative Mac offerings have also been updated to add support for Apple's latest technologies.
Adobe has updated Photoshop Lightroom to the latest version 4.3 for both the Mac App Store and standalone versions, finally bringing Retina Display support out of beta right on the heels of this week's Photoshop and Illustrator updates.
In addition to HiDPI (i.e., Retina Display) support, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.3 also adds additional RAW file support for 20 cameras, including the Canon EOS 6D, Nikon D600 and Olympus PEN E-PL5. The update also introduces a few corrections and bug fixes introduced with previous versions.
One of the most unique video titling plugins available, the latest version introduces support for Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Adobe Premiere Pro in addition to existing support for Final Cut Pro 7 and Adobe After Effects host software.
As you can see from the embedded YouTube video, Motype makes it easy to create stunning titles for any video project, with a free trial version available right from within FxFactory. If you're ready to buy, Motype is available for only $99, just in time to spice up all those holiday videos you'll be shooting over the next couple weeks.
