Mac OS X 10.5.7 Now Available
Posted 05/12/2009 at 4:38:24pm | by Florence Ion

So, remember awhile back Robbie said that the Mac OS X 10.5.7 would be available last Friday? Well, he was wrong. Turns out it is now available at Apple’s official site. Or, via Software Update.

The operating system update is recommended for users running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and includes general system fixes that include the latest security fixes, additional RAW image support for third party cameras, improved performance of video playback and cursor movements for NVIDIA Macs, and improved reliability with widgets, synching contacts with Yahoo!, and logging into Gmail.

The full list of specifications can be found at the official page. Make sure to back up your Mac before installing.

avatarmaclife sellout

Great to see that MacLife has sold out and sold their home page background to the highest bidder. Hideously ugly by the way. Oh, and the loading time seems to be more than twice as long.

avatarno more usb hub

my usb hub magically stopped working and my mouse... which was connected to the hub... and then after a restart was the ONLY thing connected to the hub after EVERYTHING had been disconnected and reconnected. the mouse laser just blinks on and off steadily. . . . . . . . . . . and no response... the trackpad works and the mouse works when you connect it directly to the macbook (White plastic macbook model type 4,1) has this happened to anyone else?
