MacBook Air Battery Life Drops Two Hours with Adobe Flash in Use

A useful way around this problem is not to install flash at all but install Google chrome as this comes with flash attached to it, So when your chosen site needs flash as its player then simply open that said website in chrome. Then shut it down afterwards.

thats why they did not pre installed it on the macbookair

I think the more relative comparison would be if the battery life drops more than an equivalent page with HTML 5 encoded videos. Eventually web sites will automatically detect which they should show, so if both drain the battery then the problem isn't flash, it is the fact that video is CPU intensive.

I would like to hear what kind of results could be achieved if you used flash-block. I wonder if it would help you keep that extra time without sacrificing the ability to see flash if needed.
