Check it out: Eddie Bauer’s Born Out There blog brings out all the drama of climbing the world’s highest mountain and it’s all made possible thanks to the accompanying production crew and their Apple MacBook Pros.
“Return to Everest” features legendary climbers Ed Viesturs, Peter Whittaker and Dave Hahn, part of Eddie Bauer’s guide team, as they chronicle their epic climb through video blogs, firsthand commentaries, and stunning photos. Film crews climb alongside the team to give viewers an almost first-hand experience at climbing Mount Everest. Viewers can follow along with the trio as they trek to their final push for the summit by viewing the videos posted daily on the site.
The field production crew includes videographers, photographers, editors and producers who all use Apple MacBook Pro notebooks to edit film with Final Cut Pro. Climb on over to check out some of the videos and to follow Viesturs, Whittaker, and Hahn as they complete their journey and work one of the most adventurous jobs on the planet.
I just wish rich jerks would leave the peak alone. It's a mundane accomplishment anymore. There's more foot traffic going up that Mt. on a nice day than through the namesake's outlet at your local mall. So whoop-dee-doo.
