MacTech Boot Camp 2011 kicked off in San Francisco at the end of January to a sold-out crowd, and managed to do the same last week in Dallas. So where is the next event taking place, and how can you attend? We’re glad you asked.
MacTech announced that last week’s second entry in their Boot Camp 2011 series in Dallas, Texas packed ‘em in with another sell-out crowd after the one-day event kicked off in San Francisco back in late January. The event is held for those who support the home user as well as the small to medium business market, featuring moderated study sessions and discussion groups around Mac OS X and even a dash of iOS thrown in for good measure.
“Based on the reaction from attendees and sponsors, people are really getting a lot out of MacTech Boot Camps around the country,” said MacTech publisher Neil Ticktin of the first two sold-out events. The single-track, hotel based seminar is specifically geared to serve the needs of consultants and techs wanting to serve their base better.
MacTech Boot Camp 2011 is heading to Boston next, with a May 18 event at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. Guest speakers for this event will include Jeff Korn, Mike Zarin, Leon Lincoln, Adam Schechter, Josh Turiel, Max Buxton, Andy Espo, Al Willis and MacTech’s own Neil Ticktin. Early bird pricing for this event closes on May 8 at a price of $295 including lunch (a $200 savings). The Boston event is also expected to sell out, so head to the registration website today to guarantee your seat.
Following the Boston event, MacTech Boot Camp 2011 heads to Los Angeles on July 27 and finally Chicago on August 31. Early bird pricing for both of these events is still available, ending May 31 and June 15 respectively.
Finally, if you’re looking to become Apple Certified, MacTech Boot Camp partner FMC is offering a special price for the last-minute study group and proctored exam, with Boot Camp attendees saving $100. Head over to the MacTech certification website for more details.
