Adobe has announced that it will be taking the wraps off its latest Creative Suite bundles, and you can get in on the fun online, via Adobe TV.
If you’re a fan of any of Adobe’s legacy products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or even the more recently acquired Flash and Dreamweaver, you’ll want to tune into Adobe TV at 11 am EST on April 12 for a live event taking the wraps off the fifth version of Adobe Creative Suite (CS5).
CS5 marks the latest overhaul of Adobe’s flagship product bundles since Creative Suite 4 was launched in September, 2008. At that time, the suite consisted of 13 products and 14 linking technologies such as Bridge and seven services like Acrobat.com. It’s not known at this time how many new products or services Adobe will unveil on April 12th, or what new features will be included.
The good news is, you can get in on the fun by registering for the global online launch event to celebrate the new versions. “During this event, Adobe will announce the top new features of each CS5 suite,” the company hinted in a press release. “We invite you to please join us for this momentous event by registering,” referring to the event as a “game-changing product launch for Adobe.”
To register, visit
http://cs5launch.adobe.com -- you’ll need a free Adobe Online ID to do so (which you can sign up for as part of the registration process), after which the website will give you a few details on preparing for the event as well as the opportunity to add the time and date to your calendar so you won’t miss it.
We know what we’ll be doing at 11 am EST on April 12… how about you? And what new features would you like to see in Creative Suite 5?
