Metal Gear Solid Touch Coming To The iPhone
If you’re all about combating terrorists and preventing black market deals for nuclear weaponry, you’re in luck: Metal Gear Solid is coming to the iPhone. The tactical stealth action game from Konami will include everyone’s favorite mercenary, Solid Snake, in handheld form. Players will be able to control everything via touch screen on eight different levels, with the possibility of more stages added later. Fans will also be pleased to hear that points earned by playing the game can be used to unlock images and wallpapers for the iPhone.
Konami also revealed that it will release Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill: The Escape, and Frogger for the iPhone later this month.

I would say iPhone's status as a hot gaming platform is official! Those aren't small potatoes franchises there. Pretty cool. How long before we get Fallout and Resident Evil?

Seriously? The version of fallout or resident evil that (hopefully never) winds up on the iphone will be equivalent to the guitar skills of that A hole at the college party who is trying to impress all the girls.Oh well. This game looks pretty good for a phone, but sitting around strumming the same cord at a party while talksinging is still stupid.

Or maybe it means these gigantic game companies will start making exclusive content with the unique features of the iPhone in mind.
