Microsoft Office 2011 Debuts for the Mac

The Apple versus PC War hasn’t been in full-swing for a while now, and while Microsoft is still one of those companies we love to hate, there’s simply no denying that their Office Suite is incredibly beneficial to anyone who works on their machines.
In case you haven’t seen the email from Apple (wait, what?), Microsoft 2011 released for Macs and PCs today.
It has marked improvements in pretty much every department, and we gave it a 4.5/5 in our unbelievably comprehensive review. To understand all the reasons to consider the upgrade, check it out.
The Office Suite comes in a variety of prices and flavors, so you might want to read up before making your choice. In typical Microsoft fashion, there are five versions, ranging from a $99 Academic Pack to a $279 Multi-pack, but Outlook doesn’t come with the cheaper models.

I had Office 2011 beta on my machine for months now. It's about a million times better than Office 2008. The two biggest upgrades are replacing Entourage with Outlook (Mail, Contacts, and iCal are awful.) and making Excel into a usable application.
Here is a Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac review with a video walkthrough showing the most notable features.
