Microsoft Updates Office 2004 and 2008
Posted 08/13/2008 at 10:01:11pm | by David W. Martin

microsoftThe Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft released updates on Tuesday this week for Office 2004 and Office 2008.

Like Apple, Microsoft was tight lipped about what was delivered in these new updates. Office 2008 was updated to version 12.1.2 and according to the accompanying information on Microsoft's website, "this update contains several improvements to enhance stability and performance. "

Office 2004 was updated to version 11.5.1 and basically offered the same information as noted above.

Both updaters included, "fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code."

We're hoping one day to see more detailed upgrade information from larger companies like Microsoft and Apple. That my friends could be the secret sauce that brings us back for more!
