Mobile Browser Market Share Map Shows Interesting Data
iCrossing, a marketing company from the UK, has created and released a map of the mobile web browser usage around the world.
The map (available here) shows the iPhone as the top mobile browser in the following countries: USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, UK, France, Germany, and Japan.
Furthermore, the iPhone appears in at least the top-four list in all the countries except India and Nigeria, where Opera and Nokia's mobile browsers top out the lists.
You can see the full size map and more details about the usage stats on the iCrossing blog.

Hm! Canada seems to be the country with the highest number of Apple fans, lol! It's amazing though how popular Opera is in Nigeria and India. I guess they are so popular because they're also cheaper. I never really liked Opera, but it has one thing that is better than the iPhone, when we're talking about internet browsing: Drupal implementations. I hope iPhone will have some similar features soon!
