Sure, there's enough enemy combat playing out in the world around us right now, but Modern Combat fans can't get enough of it. Now you can bring the battle onto your iOS device with the latest chapter.
Gameloft has released Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, the newest chapter in its number one-selling first-person shooter which promises to push the boundaries of mobile gaming further than ever before.
"In the wake of a nuclear disaster, the only chance to avoid global devastation is in the hands of the few elite soldiers who must track down and rescue the world’s leaders from a frighteningly familiar terrorist group," the app description reads.
Touting console-quality graphics and sound, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is the first Gameloft title powered by the Havok Engine, which produces "amazing ragdoll effects and the most realistic-feeling vehicles ever," the company claims.
Hey, what else do you need to now? It's Modern Combat, and it's available now on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad for only $6.99 and a whopper of a 1.44GB download.
While the game only requires iOS 4.3 or later, you'll need an iPhone 4 or higher, fourth-gen iPod touch or higher or iPad 2 or higher in order to actually play it.
