For some Monty Python fans, this is a dream 35 years in the making. It may not seem like the most likely subject for a video game, but developer Zed Worldwide has reimagined the livestock catapult from the classic comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail as an Angry Birds-esque physics puzzle game.
The game, dubbed Monty Python Cow Tossing, will be familiar to anybody who has played the ubiquitous Angry Birds. A catapult launches the animals which are aimed to destroy the castles of your enemies. The game is presented in the motif of Monty Python's own bizarre animation style, and appears to have no shortage of cheeky British humor.
The game also features numerous power-ups (such as the Holy Grail itself) and an assortment of different livestock to launch (cows, chickens, and African swallows.)
No release date or pricing information has yet been revealed. However, we do know that the game will be arriving in the next few weeks, which likely means the game has been submitted to Apple and is waiting to be approved.
