Most iPhone games offer a conveniently simple distraction from everyday life. If you're waiting in line at the bank then a thirty second game of Robot Unicorn Attack works perfectly. Every once in a while though we need something a little bit more thought provoking. We're hoping the upcoming deck-building card battler from MoreGames, Orions 2: the Deckmasters, will fit that bill.
MoreGames has a fantastic track record on iOS thus far or else we probably wouldn't be paying very much attention to this. However, their previous efforts like Knights Onrush [iTunes Link] and iDracula [iTunes Link] give us no choice but to keep a close eye on this. Before they struck gold with the two aforementioned classics, they developed a game called Orions: Legend of Wizards which may be the corniest title we've ever heard.
Orions 2 is the sequel to Legend of Wizards and is set to be released next month. We're big fans of the deck-building genre, and are very much looking forward to seeing if this game pans out. Until Magic: The Gathering comes out on iPhone we've got to find some way to get our card duelling fix.
