Warm Gun may be the master of adjectives on the App Store. It's a post-apocalyptic, Wild West, steampunk, multiplayer iOS first-person shooter. It's quite a mouthful, but the developer sent us a new video of the game in action today and it looks pretty great.
Great multiplayer shooters are in very short supply on the iPhone/iPad so we're really interested to see how Warm Gun fares when it reaches its release window this August (the team at Emotional Robot isn't quite ready to get more specific than that.)
The game definitely has a great sense of style too as they've merged steampunk, Wild West, and post-apocalyptic settings into an interesting new whole that's vaguely reminiscent of Borderlands. The soundtrack is a toe-tapper as well. So far we can't find anything we don't like about this package, so we're greatly anticipating the final release and hoping it gets here soon.
