At last night's Boxee meetup in New York, the Boxee folks introduced a new "bleeding edge" alpha version of the app. Boxee test version 0.9.10.5534 is available for download now. The new Boxee includes Pandora, and once again gives users access to Hulu.
The new Pandora feature allows users to listen to their quickmix, create new stations, and listen to their favorite stations. In addition to the Web-based radio service, the new Boxee is bundled with RadioTime. The service allows users to listen to over 10,000 traditional radio stations.

The big news is the return of Hulu to Boxee. Boxee is able to do this with the new enhanced Boxee browser that is based on the XUL framework. The new browser now shares the same core architecture as the Firefox browser or any other Mozilla-based browser. In other words, Hulu recognizes Boxee as any other Mozilla browser so Hulu doesn't block the app.
The new API enables developers to build apps for Boxee using XML and Python scripts. Giving them almost total control of the the UI and how data and metadata are controlled.

And finally, fans of Masterpiece theatre can finally get their high-brow fix with the new Boxee. Or you can watch Sesame Street, which ever makes you feel better. You can install PBS by navigating to App Box on the main menu, select Repositories and add dir.boxeehq.com.
