Halfbrick, the developer of the hit iOS game, Fruit Ninja [iTunes Link], has returned with another promising looking title. Their oft-used manly hero, Barry Steakfries will be starring again in a game called Machinegun Jetpack. If you're thinking to yourself, "there's no way it's actually about a machine gun jetpack," think again. Our most secret prayers have been answered.
The game does indeed revolve around Mr. Steakfries' exploits while wearing a jetpack that achieves flight by propelling itself with massive amounts of bullets underneath the player. This creates some unique gameplay challenges as Barry has to not only navigate the level by flying around on the jetpack, but he also has to kill enemies with the bullets the jetpack fires.
The video also shows off Barry Steakfries taking a break from his jetpack exploits to grab a motocycle powerup (called the Bad Ass Hog) that lets him run down enemies and blast through the level.
There's no indication yet of when we might see Machinegun Jetpack go up on the App Store or what it might cost when it does, but we are awaiting this with bated breath.
