New Mac OS X 10.6.3 Build 10D552 Available to Developers
Apple appears to be moving quickly toward the next maintenance update to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, with a new build seeded to developers now available.MacRumors is reporting (by way of iPhoneinCanada) that Apple has made available the third maintenance release -- build 10D552 -- of Mac OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard since early January.
“According to reports, today's build focuses on AirPort, Graphics Drivers, and Quicktime,” iPhoneinCanada reports. An additional list of changes included with build 10D552:
- Performance improvements for 64-bit Logic
- Addresses compatibility issues with OpenGL-based applications
- Includes changes to QuickTime X that increase reliability and enhance security
- Improves printing reliability and compatibility with 3rd party printers
- Addresses an issue that causes background message colors to display incorrectly in Mail when scrolling
The list of changes to the Mac OS X 10.6.3 builds have quickly gotten shorter, with MacRumors pointing out that a public release of the update “may occur in the relatively near future.”

Wonder if this upgrade will include the long awaited for updates to 64-Bit for the remaining apps that still are just 32-bit? Front Row comes to mind...

and will there be a fix for dying superdrives? mine quickly went down hill after installing snow leopard.
