New Macs Coming Soon?

New rumors suggest that we could be seeing some new Mac models in just a "few weeks." Tech Trader Daily reports on a report from Wedge Partners (a research firm).

"Wedge sees a redesigned iMac with a “thinner, organic design, likely with smoothed or rounded edges. The MacBook redesign “is likely to be limited,” Wedge asserts," TTD reports.

As Microsoft preps for a Windows 7 launch next month, a Mac refresh could lead to more Mac sales. Last fall Apple reintroduced the MacBook line with new uni-body styling. Granted these rumored updates aren't as exciting as the new body style that we saw last year.

Haha... yeah. I kept thinking the graphic needed something... so I put in puppet walt, our new favorite friend. Although he's a little creepy in the latest vid.

i think this is just a tablet hint.. idk... macbooks are pretty much freshly updated.. unless they are just changing the entry level one... and i guess imacs could use the refresh.. but they are so great now i dont see what would be diff besides the edges..

Do current Intel Mac have the capability to run Windows 7? Just wondering because if they don't then that would be a perfect time to update them and pump up the fact that the new ones can now run Windows 7. If they can already, it might be a good time to release a speed bumped existing line and mention that they will run Windows 7.

Windows 7 runs amazingly well on my late 2008 MacBook Pro (unibody). It probably would do Apple well to advertise this fact.
