Our past two Presidents haven't been the most tech-savvy dudes. But like all the posters sprawled downtown and in chic hipster neighborhoods, this soon-to-be President is all about "Change." Barack Obama is seriously addicted to his crackberry. "I'm still clinging to my BlackBerry," he shared with CNBC. "They're going to pry it out of my hands."
Some of the NSA provided options are ugly as hell and look like Palm Treos on steroids at an open-mic drag night. One option is the Sectéra Edge. It's beefy, it's bold, it comes with a promotional video that would put a Sammy Hagar Cabo Wabo video to shame.
This pudgy PDA will set you back $3,350. But at least you will be able to drop it from four feet... that's impressive, right?
Another options is the L-3 Guardian from L-3 Communications. Still in development, this is PDA only a mother could love. It's similar to the Sectéra, but boasts a heftier antenna and a weird v-shaped keyboard. That makes it so it's more ergonomic right?
Did we mention that most of these NSA approved mobile devices run Windows Mobile? Scary.
We think that Apple should hop on this band wagon and begin creating a $4,000 iPhone with superior security protocol measures and can withstand a five foot drop, just to show up the Sectéra. We would totally buy that, we would totally buy that right now... like right now, right now.
