According to Download Squad, Red Sweater Software's Daniel Jalkut conjured up the idea to offer a 20% discount on apps, instead of simply giving them away. Many developers are joining in on the fun with the "One Finger Discount" promotion, which means you can choose from over 100 apps at 1/5 of the retail price.
