First, there was the Slingbox, which let you access content on your DVR from your computer. Then there was the SlingPlayer for mobile devices -- Blackberry, yes. iPhone, not so much. In March, Sling Media promised they had submitted an app to iTunes for approval. And then... thunderous silence. 

Like, not even crickets.

Finally, on Saturday, a search of the iTunes store revealed Sling Media as a developer... but a click on the right arrow revealed no results. 

It doesn't mean the app has been accepted. But it does seem to indicate it's once step closer to being released. 

Gosh, it's enough to make you feel like  Matt LeBlanc in a Heinz commercial. Anticipation...
