Onlive has become both a nifty and cool thing and now it's sort of on the iPad. On Tuesday, OnLive released its Viewer app for the iPad. The app, which lives up to its name, allows you to watch live games occurring around the world as well as Brag Clips, trailers and allows for the creation and maintenance of friend lists for the Onlive gaming service.
Additional features for the app currently in development include:
- Try Before You Buy: Sample demos before you buy them.
- Play Games Instantly: Play Onlive games according to the rules set via your PlayPass subscription.
- Create Brag Clip Videos: Create and share your in-game highlights.
- Connect OnLive to Your TV: Use the Onlive Game System which allows access to your TV.
The OnLive Viewer is available for free and requires iOS 3.2 and an iPad to install and run.
