Apple's sold over one million iPads, at least according to the tally being kept by online advertising company Chitika.
Given the source of the numbers, those who care about such things might just want to take the report of the tablet's sales with a grain of salt. Chitika, afterall, are the same folks that incorrectly declared that 500,000 iPads had been sold a scant few days after its release. In reality, these sales numbers were not reached until the end of the first week of the tablet's availablity.
According to AppleInsider, the number crunchers at Chitika have wiped the egg of their faces and declared that they have come by their new iPad sales estimates using a different tracking system. The company has set up a running tally to keep the happy early adopters informed of how many other Apple faithful have drank some of Cupertino's tablet Kool-Aid.
