Readdle continues to innovate on the iOS platform, and now the company has become the first one to offer an app capable of filling out Adobe Acrobat-created PDF forms with version 2.0 of their PDF Expert for iPad.
Readdle has announced the immediate availability of PDF Expert for iPad 2.0, a substantial update to their popular app for reading and editing PDF files. The new version brings one of the most requested features from salespeople, lawyers, scientists and other professionals with the ability to fill out and sign static PDF forms, right on your iPad.
"Wide adoption of the PDF forms in business, government and education results in high demand for portable PDF form filling solution,” explains Igor Zhadanov, Readdle CEO. “PDF Expert 2.0 brings exactly what they are looking for -- an iPad application that allows filling out forms with information, signing them if necessary and email or upload to a corporate Dropbox account.”
PDF Expert 2.0 is capable of completing all editable elements of PDF forms, including text fields, check boxes, radio buttons and list boxes -- just like desktop PDF applications. The company notes that PDF Expert 2.0 is the first and only iOS app capable of this feat, which also includes the ability to sign PDF documents on the spot as well.
Finally, PDF Expert 2.0 also allows syncing any folder on Dropbox, Readdle Storage or a WebDAV server with a local folder on the iPad so you’ve always got the latest version of a document. After configuring sync, it takes just one tap to update a PDF file from the cloud. PDF Expert is also now capable of wireless printing via AirPrint.
PDF Expert for iPad 2.0 is available on the App Store now for $9.99 to new customers, or as a free update for existing users.
