Portal 2 Possibly Slated for Release on February 9, 2011 [Updated]

We can't confirm this, nor deny it, but according to Game Informer, Portal 2 is allegedly slated for release on February 9th of next year. Like we said, whether this is true or not is entirely up in the air.
[Update] Valve has gotten back to us and has confirmed that Portal 2 will, indeed, be available through Steam on February 9th, 2011. Now go and mark your calendars.
Joystiq has also learned that Stephen Merchant will play British robot Wheatley, so that's cool. Stay tuned, because we'll have more information as son as we learn of it.
