President Obama Presents the Queen with a Personalized iPod
Posted 04/01/2009 at 6:50:54pm | by Florence Ion

We always had a hunch that President Barack Obama was a fellow Mac Head, and this almost seems like determining evidence.

During a private meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, President Obama and the First Lady gave the Queen of England her very own personalized iPod with video footage of her 2007 visit to Washington and Virginia. Seems like the Obamas are attempting to pass along their own love of Apple products onto their friends and colleagues.

As a thank you gift, the queen and her husband, Prince Philip, gave the Obamas a signed portrait of themselves.

I'm assuming that Obama had it engraved for the Queen. What do you think it said? I'd love to know.

This is embarrassing. Does he stop at Target on the way to visit foreign heads of state? Gordon Brown got DVDs. For the wrong region, to boot. Next he'll be giving Sarkozy a box wine and bag of M&Ms.
