Apple may only be promising a "little more to show" today, but the company is apparently planning to do it in a big way, pushing out a new channel to the Apple TV for tuning in live to today's special event.
Where will you be at 10am PST (1pm EST) on Tuesday, October 23, 2012? If you're an Apple fan eager to get the first look at the mythical iPad mini, you'll likely be sitting on your couch watching the whole thing unfold on your Apple TV.
Much like the quiet introduction of Hulu Plus, Apple has pushed out another new channel on Tuesday morning called "Apple Events." As you may have guessed, it's a portal for watching all of the company's media events and new product introductions from days gone by.
But wait! The same icon is also offering a live stream of today's "A Little More to Show" event at the California Theatre in San Jose which kicks off at 10am PST.
It's been quite awhile -- two years, in fact -- since Apple last hosted a live stream of one of their media events, and if the appearance of an Apple Events portal on the Apple TV is any indication, it may not be the last.
There's no word on whether or not the event will be made available through other devices -- Cupertino historically offers live streams via its website, but thus far has not announced this option for today's event.
Update: Apple has now also posted its traditional web page for viewing the live stream online via Safari.
