A Quick Tour of the New MacLife.com

Welcome to the new MacLife.com.
Over the past few months we have been working diligently to bring you the best Mac|Life experience we can. From improved navigation, to the introduction of accounts, the site has gone through quite an overhaul while keeping the same look and feel as the original site.
Why don't you follow me on a quick tour of the new MacLife.com?

First off, you'll see the "Member Login" box at the top of the site. Readers can now create accounts and upload avatars to post comments. Post enough comments, and we're sure you'll achieve the mini-celebrity status you've always dreamed of.

The new menu bar makes navigating the site a breeze. Got a hankering for some How-Tos? Go ahead, click away, we'll wait.

Below the menu bar, you'll see our brand new article slide show. Articles we find to be especially helpful, informational, or just hilarious, will be showcased here. Too impatient for the next slide? Just click on the numbers in the blue box to pick another slide.

We wanted to give you more information on the main page, so we did. Short articles appear in their entirety on the main page now. Reviews and longer articles can be accessed with the handy "Read More" in the lower right hand corner.

Articles can now be emailed, printed and you can check out the bios of the authors by just clicking on their names. Finally, find out what makes Mac|Life writers tick.
Those are just a few of the new features on the site. Take a moment to look around and try out the site out for yourself.
I'd like to take this moment to thank everyone who helped make this new site a reality. Monica Choi and the Internet Ops team for doing all the heavy lifting. Without them, the site would have exploded into a billion bits. The rest of the Mac|Life staff for their input and continuing to write for the site even though they have magazine deadlines looming over them. Stacey Levy and the Sales Team for getting behind the new site design and making sure we can pay all the bills. I especially want to thank Craig Young, Florence Ion and Danny Estrada for helping to make sure all the old articles look nice on the new site. Thanks again to all of you.
So Mac|Life readers, enjoy the new MacLife.com and be ready for the new and exciting enhancements in the coming months.

Firstly I will talk about UGG boots' Origin. cheap ugg boots has been created in Australia during the First World War, by the Australian pilot, who wrapped in sheep's clothing with two feet into2223vf the shoes to protect from the cold weather. Then it gradually became popular in Australia. Initially the name came in, called ugg boots sale which means ugly shoes. Later, Australians nicknamed it ugg boots deutschland. Until 1994, an American registered the trademark of UGG Australia, and began to produce UGG boots in a large scale. Today, ugg Australia is a very popular brand in the world.

Roberto,
You need to update the lead story more often. Look to TUAW or AppleInsider for examples. Look to Macworld as a site that is failing in this regard.

Very nice work on the new site. By the way, what is the deal with the new "12 Print Issues plus 12 Digital Issues"? Is that something that existing subscribers can upgrade to and what exactly do you get?

Looks great! I hope the podcast will come back soon. Robbie promised it would only be a couple weeks.

WHATEVER. You guys stretched out the left-hand column and changed out the graphics for text links. DUH. Woo-hoo. The site STILL takes forever to load, and I'm using a 5Mbps connection.Put your ads on a faster server. I spend half a minute every time I click a link, waiting for the AD SERVER to catch up.
You guys used to be awesome. The magazine, the site it was all great...but now Mac Addic-- oops, Mac|Life costs $8 a pop, and the website is even thinner on real conten.
FAIL.

Use Firefox and AdBlock Plus and you won't see any adverts. I don't see any any ads delievered by 3rd-parties as I block them.
I do see all ads delievered by the website that I am visiting.

Check the cover price again, Ted. The print version of Mac|Life has been $5.99 since its debut February 2007. A 12-issue subscription (with digital editions FTW!) is just $19.99.
MacAddict used to cost more because of the cost associated with producing the disc.
Hope everyone's enjoying the new site! Big props to Robbie and his crew for their insanely hard work. Now we do the dance of joy!

I gotta add my props to the new site. I was skeptical at first, but now I think it's hella sweet.
("props"?, "hella"? who am I?)
