Quickoffice is Now Available for the iPad
As much fun as the iPad can be, there are times (and they are dark times indeed, my friends) where you've got to hunker down and be productive. If Apple's Pages, Keynote and Numbers apps just aren't doing it for you, the new Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite might be worth taking a gander at.
Offering up a healthy feature set, Quickoffice's would seem to have all of the mobile productivity features power users demand in order to keep their work flow, well, flowing. The software suite even offers up some respectable cloud storage interface options, with the ability to link up to MobileMe, Dropbox, Box.net and Google Docs.
Tasty!
If you're planning on snagging a copy of Quickoffice to give it the ol's once over, now's the time: It's being offered in the App Store at the introductory price of $9.99.

I bought my iPad to use as a work device, not an entertainment device (although I have a dozen books on it already). iWork was a little disappointing, mostly in the means of getting documents in and out of the iPad. I still suspect the outsources file management to Microsoft. At any rate, QuickOffice makes dealing with various work docs a breeze. I haven't used my MBP since I got my iPad, QuickOffice has eliminated most other excuses to use my laptop.
Now, about embedding video in Keynote for iPad.....
